The pumpkin and the chocolate actually go really well together in this:
In a large bowl, combine 3 cups flour, 2 teaspoons cinnamon, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1 teaspoon baking soda.
In another bowl, beat 4 eggs, 2 cups sugar, 2 cups canned pumpkin, and 1 1/2 cups vegetable oil. The oil and the eggs are going to overwhelm here.
Stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until everything is well mixed and more doughy. Fold in 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips.
Pour into 2 greased loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for an hour.
